September 11th, 2013 Stuart and Sandy purchased the Bay View, their love of Stanley and the heritage of the Bay View is obvious, Sandy born in Stanley has invaluable knowledge of the town and along with Stuart are digging up the Bay View's history not only for their guests to enjoy but for future generations.
Built in 1849 as a humble pub in the hustle and bustle of Stanley's wharf industrial area, it was a popular spot for local workers and sailor's alike for a cool beer at the end of a hard working day! Ask Sandy on arrival and she will tell you the links of the past and the relationship between the Bay View and former Prime Minister Sir Joseph Lyons!
